I'm glad I made it out of school alive.
Today in 4th block, like towards the beginning, the principal comes over the intercom and tells us that the entire school is on lockdown.  So, the entire class crowds in a corner away from the door, the teacher shuts off the lights, closes the blinds, and we wait to see what's going on.  Naturally, we all thought it was a drill, until the teacher checked his e-mail.  Apparently there was supposedly a bomb somewhere in the school.  And..that's when I started to freak the fuck out.  I kept thinking to myself, "Ohgawd, we're gonna end up like Columbine and VT.  I'm not gonna get to graduate, I'm not gonna go to college, I'm gonna die!"  And the classroom is on the second floor, so if a bomb did go off, we were screwed.  So, after about 45 minutes, the initial fear started to wear off and I started to get bored.  So, I started to doze off, then I heard the teacher on the phone, and after he got off he told us that apparently someone had bought a gun to school with them and they were checking bags and stuff.  Towards the end of the class, the lockdown ended and we left.  Gawd, I hope something like that doesn't happen again ;__;
